In March2019, Europcar embraced ‘Net Promotor Score’(NPS) as the key metric and barometer of customer satisfaction. Every leisure customer renting a vehicle who has booked direct, is asked “How likely are you to recommend us?”, creating an ongoing customer feedback loop. This has empowered us to make continuous enhancements to the customer experience and is a core tool in the development of staff training programmes and product innovation. Furthermore, all frontline staff commissions and management bonuses are linked to NPS performance results. Europcar is a business with user experience in its DNA and customer service at its heart. Launched in March 2022, Tesco have been rewarding its most loyal customers with personalised coupons offering discounts on the categories they prefer. dunnhumby’s Science, ensures that each customer receives a unique mix of coupons based on their personal preferences. 5 million redemptions achieved within the first year. This illustrates the high engagement levels amongst customers and also the scale of investment from Tesco. Double digit return on investment and tens of millions additional sales were delivered to the

Slick customer experience, first major retailer to launch this innovation in Ireland in October following a colleague trial with a supporting marketing campaign. Sparks customers can scan food barcodes as they walk around stores, put them straight into their bag and checkout on the app without needing to go near a till. For bigger shops (50 euros+) or when buying alcohol, you can scan as you go and transfer to till for payment. Over 2kcustomers have used it in the first three months with positive impacts on the in-store experience, NPS and visit frequency.

As part of the SuperValu Real Rewards relaunch in 2022 – a new initiative, Scan to Win was introduced. Scan to Win is an exciting monthly prize draw – 1 scan of the Real Rewards car/app = 1 chance to win. Each month, there’s a blend of local/national prizes.
Scan to Win is a fun, emotive addition to the Real Rewards programme and sits alongside other key pillars: a Weekly App Voucher, Personalised Coupons and Flash Deals. Since launch, over 1,800 customers have won a prize. The popularity of Scan to Win is growing, with the volume of entrants increasing rapidly each month.

To keep surprising customers, we wanted to create an interactive and dynamic campaign using digital tools. Our Shake to Win Gamification aims to reward large volumes of Vodafone customers, to increase app activity and to increase loyalty programme engagement through the app. To enjoy Shake to Win, the requirements are simply: to be a Vodafone customer and download the My Vodafone App
Shake to Win created a whole new experience for customers on the MyVodafone app. Customers visited the My Vodafone app and gently shook their devices to find out if they had won a prize. At Bank of Ireland, we remain passionate about demystifying money matters for students in our communities. This is now more important with recent Bank of Ireland research indicating that only 38%* of 18 to 34year olds in Ireland feel in control of their finances.(Red C)Through our primary and secondary school financial literacy programmes we want to be instrumental in shifting the dial in a positive direction when it comes to improving the financial literacy and the overall wellbeing of these young students so that in time,100% of Young Adults feel more confident about all things money





Marks & Spencer – M&S donates every time a customer shops with Sparks
We have partnered with five local charities across Ireland that most resonated with our colleagues and customers; Focus Ireland, the Marie Keating Foundation, Leave No Trace, A Lust For Life and The Alzheimer Society of Ireland to raise awareness and funding. Every transaction with Sparks we donate one cent to the customers chosen charity or equally across all five if they choose that option. Giving over 63k euros to date and featuring the charities in turn in our emails to support the great work they do and show our customers how they are making a difference in the community.

Sky – Sky VIP, it’s the treatment you deserve
Sky are the primary sponsor of the Irish Women’s National Team, supporting the team on their journey to the Euros and the Women’s World Cup through an ATL campaign and the development of the manifesto Outbelieve. As the country watched on, we wanted Sky customers to feel part of the Outbelieve story, offering a series of unique, exclusive experiences with an authentic Irish feel. Through a training day, mascot opportunity and tickets to the first ever sold out WNT game in Tallaght stadium, we thanked Irish customers for their loyalty by bringing them closer to the action.

This annual campaign is the biggest draw for our base and our biggest registration driver. Considering the recent Energy crisis and through customer research and market sentiment we understood that we needed to be sensitive amidst this current climate. We adapted our usual ‘12 Rewards of Christmas’ campaign to ‘12 Green Rewards of Christmas’. We had an ambition to both Reward and educate therefore all prizes had a green or sustainable element – from getaways at eco-friendly hotels to €/£1,000 off a customer’s electricity bill. Plus our grand prize of solar panels installation with our partners Activ8. Further to this rather than our usual click to enter process we asked customers to answer Green Energy or sustainability questions to be in with a chance to win.

In 2022, SuperValu undertook a significant relaunch of its Real Rewards program with the biggest ever loyalty marketing campaign in the programs fourteen-year history. The marketing campaign reached into the letterboxes and inboxes of every member, delivering the news that big change was coming. Once members were informed, a significant national awareness campaign kicked off in May across TV, VOD, Radio, Outdoor, Press, In-Store, PR and Social. Supported by all 222 SuperValu stores, who brought the campaign to life in their own creative way both in store and on their local social pages.

Since 2016, SuperValu has been a key strategic pillar of the Electric Ireland Rewards programme. This led to the creation of a new loyalty scheme offering customers a more seamless journey and the opportunity to save up to €60 on their electricity and gas bills.
